The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.09.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections 103(1) of BNS in Crime No.391 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the deceased having 1/4

affair with one of the A1's second wife which enraged A1, due to which, A1 conspired and colluded with 7 other accused and abducted the deceased from Chennai and brought him to the place of occurrence and attacked him with various weapons, due to which, deceased sustained injuries and died on the spot and thereafter, the accused persons dumped the body of the deceased in the water channel. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is not named in the FIR and he jas been implicated based on the confession statement of the arrest accused. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that, petitioner also actively participated in the murder and further submitted that the investigation in this case is not completed. Hence, he strongly opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 2/4

6. Considering the fact that the petitioner was also actively participated in the murder and the investigation in this case is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
