Respondent PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, pleased to punish the respondent for the act of contempt of Court by his wilful and contumacious disobedience of the orders dated 25.02.2025 passed in Crl.O.P.No.5190 of 2025 and secure compliance of the said order.

O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 25.02.2025 passed by 1/3

this Court in Crl.O.P.No.5190 of 2025, thereby directing the respondents to complete the investigation in Crime No.13 of 2024 and file a final report within a period of twelve weeks.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that, as directed by this Court, the respondent completed the investigation in Crime No.13 of 2024 and filed the final report before the Additional Mahila Court, Alandur on 25.07.2025. However, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, St.Thomas Mount, by proceedings dated 07.08.2025, had nominated the respondent to re-investigate in the said case. Accordingly, the respondent conducted a re-investigation and filed a charge sheet before the Additional Mahila Court, Alandu, on 19.11.2025 and the same is yet to be taken on file. 3.

Recording the said submission, this Contempt Petition is closed.
