ORDER

This contempt petition was filed on the ground that the order passed by this Court in Crl.OP.No.5716 of 2024, dated 08.03.2024, was not complied with.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.G.Manjunathan, Inspector of Police, Bommidi, P.S, Dharmapuri District, was present. Affidavit

of the Inspector of Police was filed and the relevant portion is extracted hereunder:

8.It is submitted that after completion of investigation, on 28.02.202, Tr.Sugumar, the then Inspector of Police have filed the final report through E-filing vide LTN20220001640D202500010 before the Judicial Magistrate, Pappireddipatti and the same was returned. Then, on 03.03.2025, Re-submitted the final report before the Judicial Magistrate, Pappireddipatti and the same was returned. Again on 30.10.2025, Re-submitted the final report before the Judicial Magistrate, Pappireddipatti and the same was yet to be taken on file.

3.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pappireddipatti, to act upon the final report filed in Crime No.70 of 2022, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

4.With the above directions, this contempt petition is closed.
