ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus in particular the 2nd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioners on 21.08.2025 wherein the

petitioners are seeking for cancellation of patta that has been issued in favour of respondents 4 and 5 by the 3rd respondent. 2.

Heard Mr.K.Mahesh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

The case of the petitioners is that the patta for the subject property stood in the name of the petitioner's mother and this patta was issued in the year 2005. Thereafter, a survey was conducted in the year 2024 and based on the report submitted by the Surveyor, the patta was issued in the name of the petitioners. 4.

The grievance of the petitionera is that the 3rd respondent had issued patta in the name of the respondents 4 and 5 on 04.08.2025. After coming to know of the same, the petitioners submitted a representation to the respondents 1 and 2 seeking to cancel the patta issued in favour of respondents 4 and 5. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioners on 21.08.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity to respondents 4 and 5 and final orders shall be passed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
