ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 18.08.2025 wherein the petitioner has sought for conducting survey and for demarcation of boundaries.
2. Heard Mr.N.Elumalai, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents.
3. The petitioner is claiming right over the subject property by virtue of a registered sale deed dated 10.11.1992. Patta No.1488 was also issued in the name of the petitioner. The petitioner wanted to settle the subject property in favour of her son. Before undertaking such exercise, the petitioner wanted survey to be conducted in the property for 2/4
demarcation of boundaries as per the patta already issued in the name of petitioner. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to respondents 3 and 4 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner and complete the process of survey of the subject property within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any other interested parties, such survey shall be conducted in their presence.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
