Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the Patta No.5560 dated 21.04.2025 issued by the 3rd 1/4

respondent in favour of 5th respondent herein and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the Appeal dated 24.03.2025 within stipulated time fixed by this Court and till disposal of the Appeal, to forbear the 3rd respondent from mutating any revenue records in respect of land measuring 0-6.28 Ares in S.No.51/1A2 of Deevanur Revenue Village, Tindivanam Taluk, Viluppuram District. This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the third respondent dated 21.04.2025 thereby issuing patta in favour of the fifth respondent in respect of the subject property. 2.

It is seen that the petitioners have also filed appeal against the impugned order before the second respondent and it is pending. In view of the same, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the said appeal and, after issuance of notice to the petitioners and 2/4

counter parties, if there are, and giving them opportunity of personal hearing, to dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 3.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
