the second, third and fourth respondents to pass an order based on in view of representation dated 08.08.2025 to survey the land by metes and bounds, petitioner's property comprised in Survey No. 58/1 , 58/2A , 58/6 , 58/10A, 58/9A in Poomalaikaradu Village, Panaimarathupatti Taluk, Salem district by considering the petitioner's representation within a time frame that may be fixed by this court and to direct the fifth respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner from the six to Eight respondent on the day of surveying the petitioner's property.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to direct the second, third and fourth respondents to pass an order based on in view of representation dated 08.08.2025 to survey the land by metes and bounds, petitioner's property comprised in Survey No. 58/1 , 58/2A , 58/6 , 58/10A, 58/9A in Poomalaikaradu Village, Panaimarathupatti Taluk, Salem district by considering the petitioner's representation within a time frame that may be fixed by this court and to direct the fifth respondent 2/6

to give adequate police protection to the petitioner from the six to Eight respondent on the day of surveying the petitioner's property.

2. The petitioner owns the land comprised in Survey No. 58/1 , 58/2A , 58/6 , 58/10A, 58/9A in Poomalaikaradu Village, Panaimarathupatti Taluk, Salem district. In order to survey the said land, the petitioner submitted an application and also paid requisite fees for the same. So far the the respondents concerned did not take any step to survey and demarcate the aforementioned land belongs to the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition.

In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to survey the petitioner's aforesaid land based on the title deed produced by the petitioner, after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if there are, and to serve the survey report to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that, if the surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject land, the said surveyor can approach the jurisdictional police seeking police aid and on such request, the jurisdictional police shall 3/6

provide adequate police protection to the surveyor.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
