ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 20.08.2025 and to revise the guideline for the subject property.
2. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondent.
3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner intended to sell the subject property, for which, the guideline value was fixed at the rate of Rs.2,00,000/- per acre for 2/6
agricultural land vide Circular No.30103/L2/2023. However, upon verifying the official web portal of the Registration Department, the guideline value of the subject property has been wrongly reflected as Rs.5,00,000/- per acre for agricultural land. Therefore, the petitioner filed a representation dated 20.08.2025 to revise the guideline value. However, the said representation was not considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this writ petition.
5. In reply, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent seeks 4 weeks time to dispose of the petitioner's representation. Hence, he requested this Court to pass appropriate orders.
6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.
7. In the case on hand, the petitioner intended to sell the subject property, for which, the guideline value was fixed at the rate of 3/6

8. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
9. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
