ORDER

The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 11.09.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 420 of IPC, in Crime No.49 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent reported that the offences in this case have now been altered to Sections 417, 420 IPC and Section 3(1)(w)(i) of SCs/STs(Act), 1989. He further submitted that since SC/ST Act was invoked, the petitioner has to file a fresh application before the concerned Court.

4. Considering the fact that the provisions of the SC/ST Act was invoked, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach before the appropriate Court in accordance with law.
