O R D E R

The Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam to dispose of the maintenance case filed by the petitioner in M.C.No.20 of 2023, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. It is not in dispute that the petitioner/wife has filed the petition invoking Section 125 of Cr.P.C. seeking maintenance against the respondent/husband.

3. A perusal of the remarks of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam would indicate that the respondent was set ex-parte and thereafter, on an application filed by him, the said order was set aside. The learned Magistrate has further stated in his remarks that he will be in a position to dispose of the main maintenance case within a period of two months.

4. In view of the said remarks submitted by the learned Magistrate, he is directed to dispose of M.C.No.20 of 2023 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
