Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to conduct survey and to fix boundary stones for the land measuring about 0.03 cents comprised in S.No.131/14 of Ariyapadi Village, Vandavasi Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District based on sale deed dated 05.01.2015 registered as Doc No.12 of 2015 on the file of Sub Registrar Office at Peranamallur by considering the petitioner's online application dated 27.05.2025 under application No.
2025/0123/06/015442.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 3 and 4 to conduct survey in the subject property based on online application submitted by the petitioner dated 27.05.2025 and to fix the boundary stones.
2. Heard Mr.G.Santhanu, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

The case of the petitioner is that she had purchased the subject property through a registered sale deed dated 05.01.2025 registered as document No.12 of 2025 and a joint patta was issued in patta No.360. The petitioner submitted an online application on 27.05.2025 along with necessary charges and sought for survey of the property and for fixing the boundary stones. Even though the application has been approved by the fourth respondent, till date, no survey was conducted. The representation made by the petitioner also did not evoke any response. It is under these circumstances, the present petition has been filed.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to respondents 3 and 4 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 27.05.2025 and conduct survey in the subject property based on the title document and also the joint patta. If there are any other interested parties, such survey shall be conducted in their presence. The said process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
