O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd, 3rd and 7th respondent, by considering petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2025, 10.10.2025 to forthwith register and release his Release deed presented on 21.08.2025 (Pending Doc.No.P/43/2025) by completing all formalities.

2. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner executed a registered Release deed in favour of her brothers in certain immovable properties. The properties covered by the deed are situated in multiple registration jurisdictions viz., Central Chennai, North Chennai, Chengalpattu and Royapettah. When the deed was presented for registration, the seventh respondent without registering the said document, kept the same as pending on the ground that verification from other District Registrar offices was required, due to the crossjurisdictional nature of the properties described in the release deed. Due to inordinate delay in registering the said deed, the petitioner sent a representation dated 12.09.2025 to the respondents 1, 4 to 7 and another representation dated 10.10.2025 to the respondents 2 & 3, seeking to register and release the release deed. However, the said representations was not considered by the respondents, as on date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

4. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 12.09.2025 & 10.10.2025.

5. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representations would be considered and appropriate orders passed within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

7. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 12.09.2025 & 10.10.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
