Mr.K.Raja, Standing Counsel for R1 & R2 COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking for a direction directing the respondents to refix the pay of the petitioners on par with 7 th pay revision from the date of promotion and also to revise the terminal benefits and pension and arrears along with interest.

2. The petitioners in W.P.Nos. 41486 and 41543 of 2025 were initially appointed as a Junior Tradesmen in the respondents organisation, thereafter, they were promoted to the post of Foreman and later to the post of Junior Engineers. The petitioner in W.P.No.41549 of 2025 was initially appointed as Junior Assistant in the respondents' organisation, thereafter, he was promoted as Senior Assistant and later to the post of Senior Superintendent. Due to attaining the age of superannuation, he was retired from service. That being so, the 13 th Wage Settlement between the Management and the recognised trade union was entered into on 01.09.2016, however, the monetary benefits were made effect only from 01.09.2017. But, though the petitioners are entitled for difference in salary and other benefits, they were not granted any benefits under the 13 th Wage Settlement.

In view of the above, the 1 st respondent is directed to consider the representation of petitioners seeking refixation of their salary by adopting 2.57 multiplier as pay matrix on par with 7 th Pay Commission with pay revision from the date of promotion and disburse all the benefits with interest at the rate of 6% within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
