ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider petitioner representation dated 21.10.2023 for child adoption.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner has got married in the year 2012 and she has no issues. The petitioner and her husband has decided to adopt a child to be their heir, for which, the petitioner made a representation to the second respondent on 21.10.2023 seeking permission to adopt a child and the said representation is not considered so far. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 21.10.2023 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
