..Respondent(s) Prayer: This Writ petition (Criminal) has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st to 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2025 concerning the 4th respondent to cease and desist ensuring forbearance apropos to running her restaurant namely M/s.Denmark Drive Inn, 24x7 in implementation of the above GO.(D) No.207 dated 08.05.2025.

ORDER
This writ petition (Criminal) has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2025.
2. Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice on behalf of the respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this writ petition (Criminal) is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that she is the proprietrix of the restaurant namely 'M/s. Denmark Drive Inn' situated at Corporation Shop No.1, Nehru Stadium, near VOC park, Coimbatore and she has been operating the same for the past 10 years after obtaining requisite valid lease and permission from the 2nd respondent. Pursuant to G.O.(D).No.207, Labour and Welfare and Skill Development Department, dated 08.05.2025, granting permission for shops and establishments to remain open 24x7 on all days throughout the year, the
petitioner kept her restaurant open 24x7. However, the 4th respondent, despite being informed about the above said G.O., has been forcefully directing the petitioner to close the restaurant by 10.30 p.m. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner sent a representation dated 16.09.2025 to the respondents. However, as the same evoked no response, the petitioner has come up with this Writ petition (Criminal).
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2025 and to consequently, restrain the 4th respondent from preventing the petitioner from running the restaurant 24*7.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that subject to the petitioner complying with the conditions stipulated under G.O.(D).No.207 dated 08.05.2025 (supra), appropriate orders will be passed on the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court.
6. In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation
dated 16.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, in the light of G.O.(D).No.207 dated 08.05.2025 (supra), within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the petitioner.
7. With the above directions, this Writ petition (Criminal) stands disposed of. No costs.
