ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 30.03.2025 wherein the petitioner has sought for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries. 2.
Heard Mr.M.Selvam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] for
4th respondent.

The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was settled in favour of the petitioner through a settlement deed dated 02.06.2023. Thereafter, the petitioner executed a settlement deed in favour of his wife on 13.06.2023 for an extent of 0.26 acres. The petitioner submitted an application on 30.03.2025 before the 2nd respondent seeking for survey of the subject property. The patta for the property stands in the name of the petitioner and his wife in Patta No.2350. Since the application submitted by the petitioner was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner and to conduct the survey in the subject property based on the title documents and the patta that stands in the name of the petitioner and his wife and the said process shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any other interested
persons, they shall be put on notice and such survey shall be conducted in their presence. If required, police protection can be sought for by the 2nd respondent from the 4th respondent. 5.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
