O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the present Criminal Original Petition seeking a direction to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Coimbatore, to 1/4

dispose of the case pending against him in C.C.No.1046 of 2024, arising out of Crime No.329 of 2023 registered for the offences under Sections 279 and 304(A) of IPC on the file of the respondent Police, within a stipulated time.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that there are seventeen witnesses in this case and that the case now stands posted on 28.11.2025 for fixing the date for trial. He further submitted that the respondent Police are ready to produce the witnesses on the dates fixed by the trial Court.

Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

Taking into consideration the facts of the case and the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court directs the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Coimbatore, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.1046 of 2024, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the next hearing date, i.e., 2/4

on 28.11.2025. The respondent Police shall ensure that the witnesses are produced before the trial Court without fail. 5.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
