ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 09.03.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for survey of the subject property and for laying the boundary stones.

Heard Mr.A.Arun Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate[Crl. Side] for 3rd respondent. 3.

The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was settled in his favour through a settlement deed dated 18.12.2021

registered as document No.2722 of 2021. The petitioner submitted an on-line application by paying the necessary charges on 09.03.2025 seeking for survey of the subject property and for laying of boundary stones. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 09.03.2025 and to conduct the survey in the subject property based on the title documents relied upon by the petitioner and the patta that stands in the name of the petitioner's father in patta No.735 and the interested parties shall be put on notice and such survey shall be conducted in their presence . If in case there is any resistance which will lead to any law and order problem, the 3rd respondent shall grant necessary police protection. The said process shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
