This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 16.06.2023 wherein the petitioner has sought for survey and demarcation of boundaries.

2. Heard Mr.K.Prasath, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property by virtue of Natham Patta issued in Patta No.281. The petitioner wanted to survey the property for marking the boundaries and hence, he submitted an online application on 16.06.2023. Since the same has not been acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 16.06.2023 on its own merits and in accordance with law and take a decision with respect to survey of the subject property within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are 2/4

any other interested parties, they shall also be put on notice before taking any decision.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
