ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for Mandamus to direct the fourth respondent to restore the land more fully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition, in the name of the petitioner's wife late Kannammal or her legal heirs and change the classification of the land based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.07.2025.

A counter has been filed by the official respondents before this Court. However, admittedly till date, no final order has been passed on the petitioner's representation dated 27.07.2025 referred to the prayer in this Writ Petition by the respondents.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is also not ready to argue the main case today. Since the representation of the petitioner has not Page No.2 of 6
been considered, this Court has considered view that no prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation referred to supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame fixed by this Court. In case, the petitioner has aggrieved by the final order passed by the respondents, the petitioner has got the remedy for challenging the same in the manner known to the petitioner in law. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation. 4.
For the forgoing reasons, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation, this Court directs the fourth respondent to pass final order on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 27.07.2025, seeking to restore the land comprised in Survey No.22/9 situated at Somasipalaiyam Village, Tirunavalur Sub Registrar Office limits, UlundurpetTaluk, Kallakurichi District, in the name of petitioner's wife late Kannammaal or her legal heirs and remove the alleged illegal classification as "Government Fallow Land and Government Road Poromboke", within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
