PRAYER Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to return the petitioner's original documents held by the fifth respondent college based on the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2025 within a reasonable time.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the fifth respondent to return back the original documents to the petitioner.

2. Heard Mr.B.N.Sinega, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.K.Tippusultan, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1, 4 & 5 and carefully perused the materials available on record.

3. In the considered view of this Court, effective relief has been 2/4

sought for by the petitioner as against the fifth respondent. The entire cause of action has arisen within the jurisdiction of the Madurai Bench and just because respondents 1 and 2 have been added in the present writ petition, that does not confer a jurisdiction on this Court since the relief is only as against the fifth respondent.

In view of the above, this writ petition is closed and liberty is granted to the petitioner to move the Madurai Bench of this Court and seek for the relief. No costs.
