ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 23.09.2025 and dispose of the same by conducting a fair and proper investigation within a stipulated time.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she is a victim of a largescale real estate fraud committed by a group of individuals operating under the name Sunshine Properties and other allied entities such as Landmark Promoters, Amman Promoters, Rainbow Builders and Prestige Properties.

3. It is her further case that she has paid a sum of Rs.18,82,440/-, to the private respondents, towards sale consideration for purchasing plots, situated at Pagalpatti Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem. However, the private respondents have not executed a sale deed in favour of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the 1st respondent. Since there is no response, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents would submit that, though the prayer in the writ petition is not maintainable, the 3/6

official respondents are conducting an enquiry and the complaint of the petitioner will be considered and disposed of, within a period of 4 weeks.

5. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the official respondents to dispose of the complaint of the petitioner dated 23.09.2025, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
