O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "call for the records relating to the order passed in Lr.NO.SE/PEDC/PLDM/DFC/AO/Rev/AS/HT/F.Courtcase/D.663/2025 by the 2nd respondent dated 22.04.2025 and quash the same as illegal.."
2. On 02.01.2026, this Court had passed the following orders:- "The learned Additional Advocate General on instructions would submit that the respondents are ready to adjust the deposit amount of Rs.40,50,488/- against the total due of Rs.58,27,008/-, which is due from the petitioner. The balance of Rs.17,76,520/- along with interest has to be paid by the petitioner subject to the condition that the petitioner gives a letter of undertaking that deposit amount can be adjusted towards arrears and that they would not ask for re-connection on this service connection.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks time to get instructions from the petitioner to produce an affidavit in this regard as well as a letter for closure of the account." 2/5
3. Today, an affidavit dated 20.01.2026 has been filed filed by the petitioner stating that they are ready and willing to the pay the due amount to the respondents with applicable interest.
4. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following directions:- (i) Reconnection shall be effected within a period of two weeks from the date of payment of the outstanding principal sum of Rs.17,76,520/-. (ii) With regard to the interest amount, the respondent shall consider granting a concessional waiver.
5. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
