ORDER

In a proposed suit for recovery of a sum of Rs.1,34,60,420/- with interest thereon, the intending plaintiff has prayed for leave to sue in respect of respondents 1 to 6.

2. Learned counsel for the applicant refers to a memorandum of understanding dated 19.12.2019 to contend that the said memorandum of understanding was executed at Chennai and provides for adjudication of disputes by Courts in Chennai.

3. Upon examining the draft plaint and the above mentioned memorandum of understanding, it appears that cause of action has arisen at least partly within the jurisdiction of this Court. Therefore, this application is allowed by granting liberty to the applicant to sue respondents 1 to 6 before this Court. As a corollary, the Registry is directed to number the suit, if otherwise in order. 12.01.2026 mmi 2/3
