ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents, particularly, respondents 2 and 3 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 12.03.2025 wherein the petitioner has sought for measuring and demarcating the boundaries in the subject property.
2. Heard Mr.K.Uthayanithi, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.
3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property by virtue of a sale deed dated 11.11.2024. Patta No.6171 has been issued in the name of the petitioner and his relative Karthikeyan. The petitioner wanted the property to be surveyed and for demarcation of boundaries in order to do agricultural activities in the property. Accordingly, an application was submitted by the petitioner to the third respondent on 12.03.2025. Since the same has not been acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to respondents 2 and 3 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 12.03.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law and take a decision with respect to survey of the subject property within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any other interested parties, they shall also be put on notice before taking any decision.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
