ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to remove the irrelevant entry in encumbrance certificate of the subject property based on the petitioner's representation dated 12.08.2025.
2. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, initially, petitioner's husband's property in Survey No.40/1 was attached by the Subordinate Court vide order passed in OS.No.616 of 1989. However, the 3rd respondent had inadvertently made entries with regard to the above attachment in Survey No.10/52 instead of 40/1. 2/6
Thereafter, the petitioner made several request to delete the irrelevant entry reflected in EC of the Survey No.10/52. In this regard, she had also filed representation dated 12.08.2025 before the 3rd respondent. However, the said representation was not considered by the 3rd respondent till date. Hence, this writ petition.
5. In reply, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the application filed by the petitioner will be considered by the respondents within a period of 4 weeks. Hence, he requested this Court to pass appropriate orders.
6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.
7. In the case on hand, initially, petitioner's husband's property in Survey No.40/1 was attached by the Subordinate Court vide order passed in OS.No.616 of 1989. However, the 3rd respondent had inadvertently 3/6

In view of the above, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 12.08.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, and neutralize the irrelevant entries, if any, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
9. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
