ORDER
The Association of Management of Coimbatore Anna University Affiliated Colleges is the writ petitioner. Upon perusing the affidavit filed and hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, it could be seen that there are certain grievances with reference to the policy embodied in Annexure 5 of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Approval Process 2/7
Hand Book 2024-27. In that regard, they had made a representation to the respondents in general.

Since this refers to the policy that is framed by the 3rd respondent namely All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Mr.Rabu Manohar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the 3rd respondent takes notice and submits that the representation can be considered by the 3rd respondent in accordance with law and every aspect should be left open for the authorities to consider.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is some urgency in the matter inasmuch as policy will repeat itself for every three years and unless and otherwise it is corrected emergently, the same would result in further prejudice and the next cycle of policy to come. As a matter of fact, on behalf of the Association, they want to make a personal representation.
4. In view of the submissions made on either side, the Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) shall consider the 3/7
representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2025 in accordance with law and pass orders thereon. The petitioner's association or anyone of the representative of the petitioner Association can also be heard in person by the authority. The petitioner shall appear before the Authority on 15.12.2025 or any such date sooner thereafter to be notified by the Chairman, AICTE. After hearing the representative of the petitioner, the representation shall be considered on merits and in accordance with law and orders shall be passed as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than 02.01.2026. Needless to mention, in case the State Government has to place any material on record they may also place on record the same.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 03.12.2025 mka 4/7
