This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to absorb the petitioner as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) with effect from the date of his initial appointment with all attendant benefits monetary and non-monetary benefits.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.
Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. 4.
With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
