India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders based on petitioner's representations dated 24.02.2025 and 07.04.2025 requesting to survey and to lay boundary stones to petitioner's residential plot comprised in Survey No.219/2B situated at Kolatheri Village, Walajah Nagar, Sholinghur Taluk, Ranipet District admeasuring an extent of 0.0111 sq.meters ( 1194 1/4 sq.ft) as per the revenue records, within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents 3 and 4 to pass orders on the representations made by the petitioner wherein the petitioner has sought for survey of the property and laying the boundary stones.

2. Heard Mr.D.Thirumoorthy, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 5.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the subject property by virtue of a sale deed dated 10.06.2020 registered as document No.3564/2020. Patta was also issued in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.223. The petitioner submitted an application 2/4

seeking survey of the subject property and laying the boundary stones and also paid necessary charges on 20.11.2024. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to respondents 3 and 4 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner and conduct survey in the subject property based on the title document and also the patta issued in the name of the petitioner. If there are any other interested parties, such survey shall be conducted in their presence. The said process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
