Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of declaration declaring that the levy, demand and collection of compensation charges for not maintaining power factor over and above 0.85 lags in respect of the rice mills of the members of the petitioner, as contemplated in the public notice issued by the fifth respondent in the Hindu dated 16.03.2003 and consequential communication of the fourth respondent dated 13.06.2003 is illegal, ultra vires and unconstitutional.

Heard, Mr.Rahul Balaji, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submits that the relief sought in this writ petition had been earlier considered by this court in respect of similarly placed persons in W.P.No.7988 of 2003 etc batch and negatived by order dated 08.09.2006, a copy of which has been produced by the respondents in their typed set. 2.In view of the same, this writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
