PRAYER: Criminal Revision Petition filed under Section 438 r/w 442 of BNSS - 2023, to set aside the order passed in M.P.No.1961/2024 in M.C.No. 298/2023 on the file of the III Additional Principal Family Court at Chennai, by order dated: 18.07.2025 and consequently enhance the interim maintenance to the petitioners.

ORDER

This Criminal Revision has been filed aggrieved by the quantum of maintenance awarded to the petitioners in M.P.No.1961 of 2024, pending M.C.No.298 of 2023.

2. It is reported by the learned counsels on either side that the trial has commenced in the maintenance case. It is also admitted by the petitioners that the respondent is complying with the order impugned to pay Rs.17,500/- (Rupees Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred Only) to the petitioners every month.

3. This Court is of the view that the ends of justice would be met if the following orders are passed:

(a) The respondent shall continue to pay Rs.17,500/- (Rupees Seventeen Thousand Five Hundered Only) to the petitioners until the disposal of M.C.No.298 of 2023. (b) The learned III Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai, shall dispose of M.C.No.298 of 2023 within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Revision Petition is disposed of.
