M/s.A.Muthukumar COMMON ORDER It is brought to my notice by Mr.A.V.Arun, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr.A.Muthukumar, learned counsel for the respondent that the appeal in A.S.No.9 of 2023 has already been heard and written arguments are filed and the appellate court has posted the matter for some clarification.

2. Mr.Muthukumar, learned counsel for the respondent would state that the interim stay already granted may be extended till the disposal of A.S.No.9 of 2023, however, the appellate court may be directed to dispose of A.S.No.9 of 2023 expeditiously.

3. In view of the above submission, the interim stay already granted is extended till the disposal of A.S.No.9 of 2023 and the Principal Sub Judge, Mayiladuthurai is directed to dispose of A.S.No.9 of 2023 on merits and in accordance with law on or before 10.01.2026.

4. The proceedings in E.P.No.36 of 2022 shall be deferred till the final decision in A.S.No.9 of 2023.
