ORDER
This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order of this Court dated 22.04.2025 made in Crl.O.P.No.11948 of 2025.
2. This Court while disposing the Crl.O.P.No.11948 of 2025 on 22.04.2025 had directed the second respondent to take necessary steps to recover the petitioner's car and produce the same before the trial Court as expeditiously as possible. Alleging non compliance of the said order, the present petition has been filed.
3. When the matter is taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that this Court while disposing the Cro.O.P.No.11948 of 2025 had directed the respondent to take necessary steps to recover the car of the petitioner and produce the same as expeditiously as possible before the trial Court. He would further submit that during the arrest of the accused in this case, 41 cars were recovered on 08.01.2026 and that they are taking necessary steps to produce the same before the trial Court at the earliest. It is his further submissions that they had formed a special team and taking sincere and effective steps to secure the remaining 10 cars. Hence, he would submit that the respondent may be discharged from the contempt proceedings.
4. Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent that most of the cars have been recovered and the respondent is taking sincere and effective steps to seize the remaining cars, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
