ORDER
This application is filed seeking extension of time to complete the investigation.
2. This Court, by an order dated 14.08.2025, has directed the 4th petitioner to complete investigation and file final report in Crime No.874 of 2024, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the petitioners would submit that though the complainant has given an online certificate of the accused stating that the accused belongs to Scheduled https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
CRL MP No.20357 of 2025 A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J., vum Caste Community, there are discrepancies in the other documents collected by the investigating agency. However, he would submit that the enquiry is also pending before the State Vigilance Committee to deal with the Scheduled Caste Certificates.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the de-facto complainant submitted that the de-facto complainant has given the proof to show that the accused belongs to Scheduled Caste Community.
5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) is directed to inform the 4th petitioner / Assistant Commissioner of Police, Redhills to complete the investigation, within a period of three months from today. Time is extended till then.
6. This petition stands ordered accordingly.
