praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 22.09.2025 provide employment to the petitioner on compassionate grounds consequent to the death of the petitioner's mother in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the request made by the petitioner for providing employment to the petitioner on compassionate ground.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner's mother was worked as a Nurse in the second respondent Department. While she was in service, she died on 30.12.2004. At that time, the petitioner was a minor. After attaining the majority, the petitioner 2/5

submitted a representation on 21.08.2018 seeking compassionate appointment. The said request was rejected on the ground that the petitioner's father was also a Government employee. Thereafter, without referring to the earlier rejection, the petitioner once again submitted another representation dated 16.06.2025 seeking employment on compassionate grounds. However, the request made by the petitioner cannot be considered, since already the application submitted by the petitioner was rejected on the ground that the petitioner's father is a Government employee.

4. In view of the above, the direction sought for in this petition cannot be granted. Thus, the writ petition lacks merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
