This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records from the respondents and quash the order dated 15.10.2025 of District Revenue Officer as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law and to direct the respondents to grant temporary cracker license to the petitioner. 2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner made application for temporary licence for selling crackers and the same was rejected since the place mentioned in the petitioner's application belong to the Block Development Office.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue direction to the respondents to grant temporary licence to the petitioner for selling crackers at No.4/81A, Maniyakkaranur Kongupatti, Kongupatti South, Kadayampatti, Tamil Nadu for this year.

4.In response, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that temporary licence will be granted to the petitioner for 2/4

selling crackers in the address mentioned in the petitioner's application, from 17.10.2025 to 22.10.2025. However, this Court may issue direction to the petitioner to give undertaking affidavit with regard to the safety measures.

5.Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed. The petitioner is directed to give undertaking affidavit before the respondents with regard to the safety measures. It is made clear that this order is applicable only for this year (2025).

6.The writ petition is closed. No costs.
