ORDER

Mr. P. Srinivasan, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the Respondents.

2. This Writ Petition is being disposed of at the time of admission after hearing the learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the Respondents.

3. In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.05.2025 regarding raising / revision of property tax for the tax period 2025-26 from Rs.33,512/- in respect of the shed measuring an extent of 1480 sq.ft. in 5-B, Second Street, East Paduvai Nagar (GST Road), Chrompet after giving opportunity of personal hearing along with required documents to the petitioner.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.05.2025 and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Needless to state, before passing any such order, the Respondent shall give due notice to the Petitioner.

6. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
