ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to deal with the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking restoration of patta in her name.

2. Heard Mr.I.Kowser Nissar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.S.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the subject property and patta also stood in the name of the petitioner in patta Nos.1426 and 1512. The petitioner came to know that patta was cancelled by the Sub-Collector/Revenue Divisional Officer without notice to the petitioner and hence, the petitioner submitted a representation before the second respondent on 07.08.2024. The second respondent, thereafter, called upon the Tahsildar to conduct enquiry and to submit a report. Since there was no progress thereafter, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to second respondent to deal with the representation filed by the petitioner on 07.08.2024 on its own merits and on accordance with law and pass final orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
