ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the 1 st respondent/writ petitioner to pay last drawn wages of Rs.30708/- to the petitioner under Section 17B of Industrial Disputes Act 1947.

2. The petitioner has specifically averred in his affidavit that from the date of denial of employment, the petitioner is without employment. The petitioner further averred that the petitioner was not able to get any employment and till date he is not gainfully employed elsewhere.

3. The averments made by the petitioner have not been refuted by the first respondent. Admittedly, the petitioner has not been paid the last drawn wages of 2/6

Rs.30,708/- and since the petitioner is not gainfully employed, this Court is inclined to allow this petition.

4. The 1 st respondent/writ petitioner is therefore directed to pay last drawn wages of Rs.30,708/- under Section 17B of the Industrial Disputes Act, from the date of filing the Writ Petition, along with the arrears within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 12.11.2025 dna To 1.The Management Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Kumbakonam) Ltd Trichy Region Trichy 620 001.
