ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking for a direction to the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation, seeking for removal of erroneous entries in the patta, which is the subject matter of this writ

petition within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr. C. Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and would submit that enquiries are commenced on the petitioner's representation and in due course final orders will be passed. The said statement is recorded.

3. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, seeking for removal of the alleged erroneous entries in the subject patta, is considered on merits and in accordance with law after hearing the objections of all the persons whose names have been included in the existing patta within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2025, seeking for removal of alleged erroneous entries in the subject patta within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing the objections of the persons whose names have already been included in the patta and any other third party whom the second respondent deems it fit to enquire.
