Respondent(s) PRAYER Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents 2 to 4 to conduct a survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property comprised of S.F. No.20/97 and 20//98 situated at Kovilpattu Village, Manavelai, Kattumannarkoil Taluk, Cuddalore district, based on Revenue records and the Decree and Judgment made in O.S.No.44 of 2011 dated 14.10.2014 passed by the Learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Kattumannarkoil so as to facilitate the petitioner to erect boundary stones and consequently directing the 6th respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner during the survey of the land and while erecting fencing around the property particularly in view of the order dated 03.03.2018 made in E.P. No.20 of 2015 by Learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Kattumannarkoil. For Petitioner(s):

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 to 4 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 29.05.2025, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for the survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3.The petitioner is relying upon the Judgment and Decree passed in O.S.No.44 of 2011 dated 14.10.2014 and also the order passed in E.P.No.20 of 2015 dated 03.03.2018. The petitioner submitted an application on 29.05.2025, seeking for the survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries, after paying the necessary charges. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4/6 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd and 3 rd respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 29.05.2025 based on the orders passed by the competent Civil Court and conduct the survey in the subject property and complete the process, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If there are any other interested parties, such survey shall be conducted in their presence. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
