(3) Settlement dated 01.09.2019 to the petitioner within time that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to pay the difference amount of salary and retirement benefits such as gratuity, provident fund, earned leave salary with interest and also revised pension based on the 12 (3) Settlement dated 01.09.2019.
2. The petitioner joined in the service as a Canteen Assistant in the respondent Corporation. Thereafter, he opted for voluntary retirement scheme on 16.12.2021. There was a settlement under 12(3) of the Industrial Dispute Act entered between the employee's union and the management on 24.08.2022. In the said settlement, several benefits have been given to the employees of the Corporation and it is implemented with effect from 01.09.2019. Therefore, the petitioner is entitled for difference in terminal benefits.

In view of the above, the respondents are directed to disburse the difference amount of his salary and retirement benefits such as a gratuity, provident fund, earned leave salary and pension with interest at the rate of 6% per annum, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Further, the first 2/4
respondent is also directed to revise the pension of the petitioner as per the Settlement, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Court.
