ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2 nd respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 10.08.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries. 2.
Heard Mr.V.Balamurugan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate for respondents. 3.
The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property by virtue of a Sale deed registered as document No.1365 of 2024. The petitioner is placing reliance upon the joint patta issued in the name of the petitioner in patta No.4766. The petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted in the subject property and hence, submitted an application on 10.08.2024 after paying the necessary charges. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition
has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 10.08.2024 and to conduct the survey for the subject property based on the title document and the joint patta that has been issued in the name of the petitioner and this process shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any rival claimants, such survey shall be conducted in their presence.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
