ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction forbearing the third respondent from initiating or continuing any coercive or disciplinary action against the petitioner.

2. The petitioner is working as an Assistant Engineer in the respondent. Thereafter, he was transferred to Veterinary College and Research Institute (VCRI), Udumalpet and joined duty on 23.02.2023 as Assistant Engineer (Civil). However, the petitioner was not handed over any official charge including all files and related books in respect of ongoing works of Livestock Farm Complex (LFC) project. While being so, there was complaint alleging that files were missing. Therefore, the petitioner was calling for to submit explanation. The petitioner submitted explanation and even then the petitioner apprehends disciplinary proceedings.

3. Though the petitioner submitted explanation for the show cause notice, the petitioner is liable to face disciplinary proceedings on the charges. Therefore, the petitioner cannot prevent the respondents from taking any disciplinary proceedings. 2/4

4. In view of the above, the writ petition is devoid of merits. Therefore, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
