ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 24.09.2025 wherein the petitioner has sought for rectification of the error in the patta with respect to the subject property. 1/4
2. Heard Mr.R.Mohan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the house site was allotted in the name of the petitioner's father-in-law on 07.07.1970. At that time, the extent of property was mentioned as 11⁄2 cents (0.0063 hectares). The petitioner made a representation on 24.09.2025 to respondents seeking rectification of the extent of the property. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of grievance expressed by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to respondents to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 24.09.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No 2/4
costs.
