ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's property situated at Old No.12, New No.27, Plot No.10, Adyar Bridge Main Road, Chennai - 600 020 on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 13.10.2025.

2. Mr.R.Vinothraja, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The case of the petitioner is that he has purchased the property situated at Old No.12, New No.27, Plot No.10, Adyar Bridge Main Road, Chennai - 600 020 at Urur Village comprised at Survey No.49/5 measuring an extent of 1219 Sq.Ft., out of 2174 Sq.Ft., acquired from Murali, Mani, and Bhoobalan, represented by their power agent one T.A.S.Nazir vide sale deed registered in Doc. No.1710 /2015 at Sub Registrar's Office, Adyar. The petitioner is in continuous possession and enjoyment of the same from the date of execution of the sale deed in the year 2015. It is the further case of the petitioner that Mr.Manikandan and

Mr.S.Gunaseelan who are not related to the property are objecting the petitioner's peaceful possession and trespassed into the property and when the petitioner attempted to erect fencing, the said hooligans had objected and restrained him from putting up fence. In this connection, the petitioner had given a complaint dated 10.10.2025 seeking to take action against the said Manikandan and S.Gunaseelan who are land grabbers. However, the respondents have not taken any steps so far and thereby the present petition has been filed seeking to pass an order to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's property.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the property, having purchased the same vide a registered sale deed dated 18.11.2014 and he is in continuous possession and the two aforesaid persons are creating problem and that the petitioner has given a complaint dated 10.10.2025. However, the respondents have not taken any action so far.

6. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has sent a complaint dated 10.10.2025 to the third respondent and on reference from the first

respondent, enquiry is conducted in Current Paper Number 164/INS/TAPAL/2025, on 17.10.2025. He submitted that there appears to be a civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the said Manikandan and S.Gunaseelan. The complaint has been received, the respondents are conducting enquiry and due action will be taken in accordance with law.

7. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this writ petition stands closed, directing the respondents to conduct enquiry in the petitioner's case and proceed in accordance with law. No costs.
