ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the third respondent dated 29.08.2025, thereby appointing an Enquiry Officer to conduct domestic enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel for the third respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner was working as a Clerk as well as in charge of the post of Secretary with the third respondent Society. While being so, during the year 2021, an enquiry under Section 82 was ordered with regard to disbursement of jewel loan, crop loan and the petitioner's promotion to the post of Secretary. The Enquiry Officer submitted a report stating that there is no mal practice or misappropriation of fund of the Society. However, it was not satisfied and as such, once again, it was ordered to conduct enquiry during the year 2023. Based on the enquiry report, the petitioner had paid the misappropriated amount. Based on the inspection report, now domestic enquiry is ordered to be conducted by an Enquiry Officer. Accordingly, the Enquiry Officer has been appointed and proceeded with the enquiry.

4. In view of the above, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the order passed by the third respondent and the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed.
