ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 02.10.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.
2. Heard Mr.J.Pradeep, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr.N.Naveenkumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] appearing for third respondent.
3. The petitioner is placing reliance upon the Lok Adalat Award dated 13.08.2022 and the joint patta issued in Patta No.306 and claiming right and title over the property. The petitioner submitted an application seeking survey of the subject property and for demarcation of 2/4
boundaries. Since the same was not acted upon, the present petition has been filed.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 02.10.2025 and conduct survey in the subject property based on the Lok Adalat Award dated 13.08.2022 and the joint patta that stands in the name of the petitioner. If there are any other interested parties, such survey shall be conducted in their presence. If required, it is left open to take police aid from the third respondent. This process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
