Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Declaration, declaring that the election process held pursuant to the third respondent's notification dated 18.8.2003 and consequential election of respondents 4 to 13 as members of the Academic Council of Thiruvallurvar University, Vellore is contrary to law and null and void.

PRAYER IN W.P.No.29262 of 2003:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Declaration, declaring that the G.O.Ms.No.337 Higher Education (K2) dated 25.09.2003 is unconstitutional and null and void, in so far as it seeks to give direction with retrospective effect from 16.10.2002.
