ORDER

This application has been filed to permit the applicant to withdraw the amount that has been deposited by the respondent which is lying to the credit of Arb.O.P.(Comm.Div.)No.74 of 2024, together with accrued interest. 2.Heard Mr.Kishore Balasubramanian, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant and Mr.A.R.Sakthivel, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3.It is brought to the notice of this Court that the Award that was challenged under Section 34 of the Act in Arb.O.P.(Comm.Div.)No.74 of 2024 was upheld. During the pendency of the petition, interim stay was granted subject to the condition that the respondent deposits 25% of the Award. In view of the dismissal of the main petition, the applicant who was the respondent in

3/5 the main petition has sought for permission of this Court to withdraw the amount.

4.Considering the fact that the Award has gone in favour of the applicant and the petition filed challenging the Award also dismissed, this petition is allowed as prayed for. No Costs.
